  • Partner with Enugu State Government

EnuguUSA Medical Mission

The Enugu USA Medical Mission is a humanitarian year round mission to provide FREE medical care to the people of Enugu State who are underserved and less privileged. It is in response to health crisis (malaria, arthritis, diabetes, infections, ulcers, high blood pressure, wounds, health education, etc) that Enugu USA Medical Mission was organized to contribute to solutions that solve health issues affecting Enugu people.

 

Resource Center for Youth (Youth Think Tank)

EnuguUSA will assume a leadership role in addressing:

youth challenges and issues.

Assist children to prepare and select colleges and careers; and initiate healthy relationships including dating and marriage in the context of our culture and prepare children to succeed in life.

 

Resource Center for Environment (Environment Think Tank)

EnuguUSA will assume a leadership role in addressing Enugu State’s environmental challenges in partnership with Enugu State Government.

  • Partner with Enugu State Government
  • Conduct a strategic environmental assessment
  • Implement a strategic waste management plan (trash to cash, pilot recycling, energy conservation and assess economic impact] Conduct annual pollution prevention workshops for local government officials, community groups school children, women groups and others Link environment to health by utilizing environmental information to improve health and wellness in Enugu State
  • Address air quality, water quality, water quantity, environmental engagement in Enugu State Communities
  • Embrace environmental sustainability as a core value among its communities
  • Increase community awareness of environmental and sustainability issues
  • Infuse waste management into curriculum at all levels of education
  • Advance knowledge of climate change
  • Embrace agricultural practices that protect the environment

  • Partner with Enugu State Government
  • Improve educational infrastructure including internet connectivity
  • Increase access to educational programs in USA–including academic courses, degree programs at all levels, and certificate programs–for traditional students, non-traditional students, and lifelong learners
  • Ensure that all students are better prepared to enter and succeed academically in school at all levels
  • Develop mentor-mentee program for our Youth in their chosen fields
  • Provide guidance to our youth in selecting Colleges/Universities
  • Offer advice to parents who want to go back to school
  • Increase access to education and improve educational infrastructure at all levels particularly for underserved villages in Enugu State
  • Leverage EnuguUSA’s expertise, and increase collaborations with Enugu State to lower dropout rate and improve academic achievement in all public schools
  • Promote Sister-to-Sister partnerhips with Institutions of Higher Learning in Enugu State
  • Offer online training/refresher courses for faculty/staff in Institutions of Higher Learning in Enugu State

 

Resource Center for Economic Development (Economic Think Tank)

EnuguUSA will assume a leadership role in partnership with Enugu State Government to enhance economic transformation and development, especially in the rural and underserved areas in Enugu State.
